Our Committee Room will sit 12 people around the tables and extra seating can be added around the room to increase capacity. The Council Chamber seats up to 31 people using all tables and again extra seating can be added around the room. For any more information regarding the possible layout in these rooms please contact us.
Rooms at the Municipal Buildings in Boscawen Street are available for hire by charities, commercial and non-commercial organisations.
Please note that the normal hiring sessions for the room are as follows
Morning 9:00am - 1:00pm
Afternoon 2:00pm - 5:30pm
Evening 6:00pm - 9:00pm Please note that:
In the event of cancellation of a room booking, the following charges apply: 3 working days notice - 25% of the total room hire charge
Less than 24 hours notice - 50% of the total room hire charge
Voluntary organisations subject to Mayor's discretion but with a minimum charge of £18.00 for a single session and £23.00 for a double session.

Please note in event of there being a coffee morning in the building the hourly rate will come into effect for 1pm.
Use of the kitchen £10.00 per session plus VAT.
Please note the above times should be adhered to and include setting up and vacating the room. Additional costs incurred, e.g. waste disposal, will be charged at cost.
