Truro, along with many other towns, is judged each year in the national Britain in Bloom competition. The judges, who visit Truro in July, look at the town as a whole this includes community involvement, recycling – the greater the displays they see, the better Truro's chances are. The national publicity which follows such an award only serves to encourage visitors and tourists, a benefit to both traders and the Council alike. Our planting service offers compost and plants for your baskets, window boxes or other containers, planted up on site or in nursery. Optional watering throughout the season and removal are also available – under normal conditions the season extends from mid June until early October. All containers are provided with fuschias, geraniums, petunias, verbena, trailing plants (including ivy leafed geraniums) and other summer flowering species.
