Do you live in the City of Truro or the Town Council areas of Liskeard, Lostwithiel or the Parish of Ladock and will be going to University in 2012?
Did you know that if you live in the City of Truro, the Town Council areas of Liskeard and Lostwithiel or the Parish of Ladock and will be attending a course of Higher Education you could qualify for some extra financial help from The Elliott Exhibition Foundation.
This trust fund was established towards the end of the last century to make Exhibition awards to students attending a course of Higher Education at a University or similar establishment in the United Kingdom; it is funded entirely through charitable donations.
You can apply to the Exhibition for support if you fill the residence criteria highlighted above and will be under 19 by the 1st July prior to the start of your course. Exhibitions are normally made annually in November and can range in value from £50 to £100 and could help towards the cost of books, equipment or travel expenses. Application forms must be submitted to the Clerk by the 30th September each year.
If you think you may qualify and would like to find out more about the Foundation, its eligibility criteria or to Application Form 2012 then check out the Elliott Exhibition Foundation website at -
