ROOM HIRE

Rooms at the Municipal Buildings in Boscawen Street are available for hire by charities, commercial and non-commercial organisations. The Committee Room, Council Chamber and Town Hall are available for single sessions (am or pm) or double (am & pm), with optional use of the kitchen. Fees for the hire of these rooms are shown below. Please note that the maximum capacity for the Town Hall is 150 persons at any one time.

In the event of cancellation of a room booking, the following charges apply:
3 working days notice: 25% of the total room hire charge
Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the total room hire charge


Voluntary organisations subject to Mayor's discretion but with a minumum charge of £14.00 for a single session and £19.80 for a double session.

Please also note
that as the floor in the Town Hall is a soft wood and is highly varnished we request that stilleto heels are not worn as they could cause damage.
